Blog as communicative tool

 During the COVID-19 pandemic, schools across the country used google classroom as communicative tool to teach our lesson to students. In my school, we also used google classroom to teach lesson from IV to VIII. Teachers use to teach by sending reading materials, video clip, images through google classroom according to their timetable framed by the school and students were ask to post their work in the same platform after completing. Using google classroom to communicate with our students was interesting and fun too but most of the students had difficulty at first on how to go about it. Later on, the student learnt how to operate with practice and they even called teachers for the help. 

Using google classroom is a great, flexible way to ensure that every student gets just what they need because everything is posted online and students access to materials no matter where they are. Students who are absent can also easily access classroom materials from home and they can complete the work next day. Through this forum the students are kept engaged while they are away from the normal classroom teaching. I as a teacher kept on reminding the students who do not submit their work on time either through call or voice chat and most of the students they complete their work on time. Since my school is located in semi-remote area and parents are mostly illiterate where they don't have access to smart phone. Most of the students could not join the google classroom and we ask the students to get help from the nearby friends. So most of the students will respond and carry out their given tasks on time and sometimes for few we have to keep on reminding to submit their work. 

Later on, most of the students enjoyed using google classroom and they were well acquainted on how to post or submit their completed tasks. Though this platform does not go well as we teach in face to face in the real classroom situation, we select the topic which are very much relevant to them and we give the task. In different days, the students will have different subjects to learn and sometimes some of the teacher asked them to present their voice narration if possible in forum like we chat or telegram. we have also an incidence where some students just copy the first sender work and post the same in the google classroom. So in a way, students learnt a lot from google classroom teaching and also they learnt how to fiddle different forum which they haven't learnt before.
